How to Vote in Brampton
Your vote decides who represents Wards 2 & 6. Here is everything you need to cast it.
Election Day

Voting is open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Advance Voting
Can’t make it on election day? Vote early on any of these dates.
- Friday, October 912:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 1010:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 1110:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 1612:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 1710:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Who Can Vote
You are eligible to vote in the Brampton municipal election if all of the following are true:
- You are a Canadian citizen
- You are at least 18 years old
- You live in Brampton, or you own or rent property in Brampton
- You are not otherwise disqualified from voting by law
What to Bring
Bring valid ID showing your name and a qualifying Brampton address — for example a driver's licence, a utility bill, or a lease agreement.
Home Voting Service
Eligible Brampton voters who are unable to attend a voting place can apply to vote from home. Home voting runs October 13–15, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
